Santa Fe in the Fall
Or Serenity's trip to Pablo's
So this trip had been planed for about a month. The purpose was to get some help
on figuring out the brake set up on Lynn's trike.
We rented a 6 by 12 trailer and headed east on I-40, with strong north winds and 580 miles
it made for a long day.
We spent the weekend working , ok Pablo spent the weekend working on the caliper mounting plates
and we well stood and watched and helped out a little.
By the time Sunday mid morning arrived the brakes were working but another issue had been found.
Seems the hubs do not roll straight, so they are going to be pulled off and sent to Dusty Dave to be worked on.
It was a good weekend and we were able to take a ride in our very first toy run.
Lynn and I really don't like riding in large crowds of bikes , with the stopping and going
and the 5 mile an hour speed it's just not our thing. But it was cool to ride in Santa Fe and Lynn took a few pictures.
Now the video is a little odd cause she was given a stuffed moose to hand out, and well she had it
sitting on the top of my head while she was making the moose wave at everyone, which made to camera move around. So when you see the video just remember that.

Just a normal fall weekend
on the first weekend of October

We left out of Oklahoma city around 5:30 am and headed to the Wichita mts.
Our goal was to hike Elk Mountain, which we never made it to.
Our other goal was to get to the mountains before sun up, which we did.
As we were driving thru the wildlife area Lynn seen a couple of elk off to the side of the road.
We pulled over to take pics but it was just to dark. They were headed toward the north so
we took the Meers turn off and head north.
I remembered that the Parallel Forest was right off of hwy 115 and there was a parking area for hikers.
This is where we would start or hike.
we could here the elk bugling in the distance in front of us.
We would spend 3 hours hiking toward the sound and get some really great pics and video.
Which you will see in the video.
Now the part of the hike was this.

I was setting up the tri pod to take a pic of us on a big rock and Lynn said hey don't move so
what did I do I turned and spooked them
So here is a pic of Lynn on the rock
I took this pic while she was telling not to move
and she was taking this pic of what was coming up behind me
and this is the pic I was setting up for that I scared off the couple
We spent 6 hours out hiking and then went down to check on the house.
we decorated for fall and headed back to OKC.

Back to OKC and a good nights rest, because Sunday morning was going to be spent
with ElizaBeth out on the lake for her first ride in the Prate Paddle Boat.
With Selfies taken
and help un loading the boat

and safety gear on
 we were off

Demo Day
Getting ready to up grade
Electric.
We have three main things that have to be done to our new house down south.
1st was the roof
2nd electric
3rd plumbing which includes gas and heating and air
well with the roof done it's time for electric
now this is not simple because we want to move the breaker box from inside the house
to outside the house. Which means we needed to take the sheet rock down on 2 walls
and the ceiling in the laundry room, and we want plugs in a wall in the front entry way
where there are no plugs, so another section of sheet rock needed to be taken down.
And alot of of other plugin are being added plus USB's are being added in 5 rooms.
Now those of you that know us know why we are adding more plugs,
Christmas thats why.
so we took some pic's and I made a funny video (Ok its funny to me)
take the time to watch the entire video
here ya go
