So we are gonna call this one
Bell Cow Lake and one long
ass dirt road.
We left out of OKC early Sat morn June 25
headed for one of our favorite breakfast places,
POP'S in Arcadia Ok about 35 miles from home.
Then plan was simple eat a good breakfast and head up Hwy 177 north towards Stillwater then head west towards Guthrie and HWY 77 and on back to home.
We would be headed no place in general just a big loop and to be out on the road is all we wanted.
We got to POP's around 7:45 and the place was dead??? we were the only ones there besides the people that work there. Usually when we get there the place is busy. We got our booth and ordered our food, ate drank our coffee and watch as people started arriving. Done with breakfast it was time to head out. We hit rt 66 ready to see what we could see. We made our left turn onto hwy 177 north and graded us some gone. It didn't take long for our plans to change. We came across a sign we had seen many times. 4 1/2 miles est on E 870 is Bell Cow Lake, we had passed by this place many many times, but today was the day to check it out. It's a big lake out in the middle of nowhere and it's pretty nice lake to boot. The out has some twisties (we like twisties) and some upsy and downsys and that was fun, like riding a roller coaster. As we were heading to the end of the road which was a camp area for the lake Lynn said she seen a cemetery, so we checked it out on the way out.

We headed back out to hwy 177 north and headed towards Stillwater. About 10 miles down the road I decided to make a right onto hwy 105 and head to Tryon which we had never been to. We made our right turn and less than 1/2 mile on the north side of the hwy there was another cemetery so we stopped

Back on the road and east toward Tryon and just right out side of this small town a rather large cemetery.

We rolled onto Tryon got a cold lemonade and gas and headed out again.
Now we have never rode hwy 105 east soooooooooooo we decided to do that.
We rolled east at a fair pace and enjoying the ride, when we seen a sigh that said cemetery and off roading we went. Yeah we never found the cemetery but we did ride all the way back to Luther and Arcadia and POP's on one of the longest and roughest dirt, lose gravel and sandy roads we have ever been on.
We pulled back into POP's to get a cold drink late afternoon covered in Oklahoma red dirt and Skull well she looked like we had abused her.
The looks on the other bikers faces was priceless.
and POP's was hopping, man a ton of people unlike when we were there about 6 hours earlyer.
we had a few people come up and look Skull over and a few questions were asked.
We drank our drinks and fired our girl up and roared out of the parking lot headed for home.
It was a good ride and a little odd.
So I put this video together a little odd, to show what our rides can be like in one day
ENJOY
